All year round warm

Turkana Land offers an all year round warm climate. During January, February and March dry heat prevails. In June, July and August, when the Kenyan highlands are chilly and covered by clouds, travelling in Turkana Land is specifically agreeable with lots of sunshine and gentle warmth. During the rainy seasons in November and the first half of December and in April and May travelling might be hampered by seasonal rivers and muddy tracks.
